THE BATTLE FOR SOAPBOX SUPREMACY.
sept. 23rd at the soapbox is cappadonna, ra the rugged man and icon the mic king with stevie mack djing.

as a fellow record player in the wilmington area, i, Lord P. Walrus, extend an invitation to one, Steven James Mack, to a dual, a round of vinyl fisticuffs, a dabble in the ring... a dj battle, at that show.

iv heard a few times in the last few months, "stevie mack is 'the' hiphop dj in wilmington" or "stevie mack is soooo good at scratching"...

so if you know stevie mack, please make him aware that this offer is out on the table, if he turns it down, then that is his own decision, but if he does turn it down, he cannot fully proclaim himself "best scratcher in wilmington" or for that matter dj. (i personally think dj suspence is the best dj in wilmington, i will battle him later.)
also, mitch not allowing this battle to go down at the show is not an out becuase mitch is awesome and knows it will be awesome.

however, this is a dual not of arrogance or hatred for stevie mack, but Lord Walrus just sees stevie mack representing "turntablism" at shows and as i partake in such activites, a friendly compitition can be nothing but fun.

so let it be known, that in less than a months time, a battle for Soapbox Supremacy will go down in the books, provided stevie mack accepts this challege.

again, i have nothing personal against mister mack, i dont know him at all and iv never really talked to him, but if he pushes turntablism then he should be down to battle to hold the weight up.

format:
two (2) rounds
two (2) minutes per round
head to head
judges ruling (by people who know the deal so its a fair decision)
equipment allowed: vinyl records, a mixer, two (2) turntables ONLY.


prize: if he defeats me in a dj battle, i will give him a chance to take my king of the streets emcee battle champion crown.

(and just so stevie mack doesnt beat me up at blue post or something one night...this 'battle' does not mean negative feelings from me towards him, i just wanna battle, represent for the grimey djs from the streets who dont got speakers...i rock a party with headphones straight up listening station style...you wanna dance bring your own adapater son.)
